Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you use our instant quote calculator, request a call back, or ask us to supply and install artificial grass. Please read them alongside your written quote — together they form our agreement with you.

Who we are

LSK Landscapes Ltd trades as LSK Landscapes, including through this artificial grass site, registered in Scotland, company number SC888913, registered office 47 Kyle Street, Ayr, United Kingdom, KA7 1RS. We're VAT registered, VAT number 521977278.

These terms apply to all quotes, orders and work carried out by LSK Landscapes Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for our customers ("you", "your") through this site.

Instant quote and pricing

The price shown by our instant quote calculator is an estimate based on the dimensions you enter and our current standard pricing — grass, installation, a wastage allowance and VAT, all shown in the breakdown. It assumes reasonably straightforward ground conditions and access.

It isn't a fixed quote or a binding offer. Your actual price is confirmed in writing after a free site survey, once we've seen the ground conditions, access and any preparation work needed.

Arranging a visit

Submitting the "Arrange a Visit" form asks us to call you back — it doesn't create a contract between us. A contract is only formed once you accept a written quote following your site survey, in the same way described in Section 04.

Payment terms

Payment terms are confirmed on your written quote. As a general rule:

  • A deposit, typically 10% of the total quoted price, secures your start date and confirms your order
  • Larger installs are usually paid in agreed stages as work progresses, set out in your quote
  • The final balance is due on completion, once you've had a chance to review the finished lawn

We'll always confirm the exact deposit amount, stage payments and due dates in writing before asking you to pay anything.

Your right to cancel

If you agree to a contract with us away from our business premises — for example, during a site visit at your home — you have a legal right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of agreeing to the contract, without giving a reason, for a full refund of anything you've paid.

To cancel, just tell us clearly — by phone, email, or in writing — before the 14 days are up. We'll refund you within 14 days of being told.

If you'd like work to start within the 14-day cancellation period, we'll ask you to confirm this in writing first. If you then cancel after work has started, you may need to pay for the work carried out and materials used up to the point you cancel.

Guarantee

Our artificial grass carries a 10-year manufacturer product guarantee. We back every installation with our own 2-year workmanship guarantee on top of that, covering defects in how the grass and sub-base were installed.

This doesn't cover damage from misuse, pets digging or chewing, sharp implements, heat damage from reflected sunlight, or ground movement unrelated to our installation.

Access and site conditions

To keep your install on schedule, please:

  • Provide reasonable access to the work area, including parking for our vehicles where possible
  • Let us know about any underground pipes, cables or drainage you're aware of
  • Keep pets and children away from the work area while we're on site, for everyone's safety

Landscaping and outdoor work is affected by weather and ground conditions. If bad weather or conditions outside our control push back your start or finish date, we'll let you know as soon as we can and agree a revised timescale.

Liability and insurance

We carry public liability insurance covering our work. We're liable for damage we cause through our negligence, but we don't accept liability for pre-existing issues with your property that we couldn't reasonably have known about, or for indirect losses.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law, and any disputes will be dealt with by the Scottish courts.
